What’s It Like to Host a Child?

I just wanted to thank you, and let you know how wonderful it was! It was such a blessing to our family, and our church family! We personally had Agnes and 3 of the girls, it went too quickly!! I didn’t want them to leave. I hope that you will keep us in mind if and when you are coming back through the area again. The only thing I didn’t like was telling them goodbye. Thank you Vickie for all the organization that you do as the coordinator. We were blessed!

Thank you for letting us host Brenda, Diana, Richard, Martin and Evelyn. (The entire group was amazing) We never dreamed that you could fall in love in 3 days but we did.  What a great experience and they are truly beautiful…. inside and out. One night as we were getting ready for bed, my daughter, Mattilyn said to me…”Mom I am heart happy!” That is the best explanation there is. These special children will always be in our prayers and thank you for allowing us to meet them. Please keep us in mind in the future.

Sincerely,
Matt, Tracey and Mattilyn Helms

We hosted Kenneth, George, Wilson, and Karin in Appleton, WI, through First English Lutheran Church. One of the biggest blessings of the year! Plus, we learned they love Bop It, bikes, and spaghetti!

We hosted three beautiful girls and their teacher in Bridgeton/Millville, NJ, May of 2016. My favorite part was the interaction between my children and the girls. My son says he misses his sisters.
