When Childcare Worldwide Became Maureen’s Family November 17, 2021
Maureen remembers it vividly. She was about eight years old, standing outside her boarding school with her brother. The term had just ended, and she was waiting for her mom to come pick them up. One by one, the other children were all picked up, until eventually it was just Maureen and her brother left. But nobody came.
Creative Giving October 30, 2020
Did you know that 31% of the annual donations made to charities in the US are given in just one month? The four weeks of December are vital for any nonprofit’s success in the following year. Childcare Worldwide is no exception – and that’s why we need your help! But your support doesn’t have to come in the form of a financial gift. There are so many ways you can support this ministry, especially here at year’s end. Here are a few creative ways you can make a difference!
Double the Good Means Double the Fun October 15, 2020
This year has been a crazy whirlwind like no other. And since Christmas is just around the bend, it’s time to start making our Christmas gift lists. With COVID-19 changing the way we do everything, I want to send gifts that have an even deeper impact than ever before, especially to loved ones I don’t get to see in person very often.

At 16 years old, Mercy is all too familiar with the problems caused by dirty water. Sometimes, she feels like her entire day is ruled by the search for water. Thankfully, the Childcare Worldwide Gift Catalog is here to help kids like Mercy, with gifts that transform lives.

Thanks to you, we just wrapped up another year of wonderful Love Pak Christmas parties around the world!

I can’t think of a better way to share the joy of Christmas with children than with the gift of a Love Pak party! Thank you for making it possible.

A special thank you from the kids November 15, 2019
Here in the season of Thanksgiving, the kids have a special message of thanks for you!
I know accolades are not the reason you choose to give so generously. But, I hope you know just how blessed each child is by your support – and the kids want you to know it too!
Thank you and happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! November 11, 2019
During this season of gratitude, I couldn’t be more thankful for the things God has done through this ministry. I’m reminded again and again that God has great things in store for Childcare Worldwide.
I have met so many kids who inspire me. Little Diana in Kenya, moved to tears as I handed her a water filter so her family could have clean water access for the first time in her life. Ivan in Uganda, a young artist with great talent, hard at work building his business and transforming his future, all thanks to the opportunities he had through sponsorship. A young man in Thailand who met Jesus through his sponsorship experience, and then told his friend who also became a Christian. Alex, a man filled with gratitude to the Lord because sponsorship gave him an opportunity to be a chemistry teacher inUganda. (more…)
Against all Odds September 30, 2019
In Uganda, I recently met an amazing young woman. Her name is Allen, and despite so many challenges, she’s built a beautiful life for herself.
Allen was born in a poor village in Uganda. She is also deaf. When her parents realized she couldn’t hear, they decided they didn’t want her. Thankfully, a kind neighbor woman who had no children of her own decided to take care of Allen. This neighbor is the only family Allen has.
Her new mom was very poor. She could provide Allen with some food and a place to sleep, but not much else. As a young child, Allen communicated entirely by miming. There was no money for school or tutors who could unlock the world of sign language for her. (more…)
