Max and his wife, Marlies, founded Childcare Worldwide in 1981. The first office was their bedroom in their home in Glendale, CA. Max was born and raised in Germany. His experiences during the Nazi days and subsequent conversion to Christianity in Liberia, West Africa, are the subject of his first book, “Into All the World.” For 17 years, Max worked for the LeTourneau Organization, rising to Assistant to the President of R.G. LeTourneau Inc., and Secretary Treasurer of the LeToureau Foundation. The roots of Childcare Worldwide go back to those days and the contacts that were made in his worldwide travels. Dr. Lange is a graduate of a German business school. In the U.S. he has earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Communication. The Langes have two daughters and two grandchildren.
