How do I log into my online account?
- Click on the Person icon in the upper righthand corner
- Fill in your login email and password
- Click login
- If you have forgotten your password, click on Reset your password
How do I change my payment method?
- Log into your account
- Click on the Person icon in the upper right corner
- Click on My Giving
- Scroll down to My Payment Methods
- To Add a payment method, click on Add Payment Method beside Show Filters
- To Delete a payment method, click on the three bars beside the payment method to bring up the delete option.
I’m not ready to sponsor yet, are there other ways to give?
- On our website, click on the three lines in the upper right hand and choose Give.
- Click on Want to Give in a Different Way at the bottom of the photo and it will take you to a description page with all of the giving options.
- Once you choose one, click on an amount or enter a custom amount,
- Click Give and follow the instructions.
What does sponsorship provide for each child?
Sponsoring a child gives them direct educational support by paying for their school fees and uniforms; spiritual support through Life Center’s program including a weekly Bible lesson, worship time, and a chance to hear the gospel regularly; physical support such as clean water, a nutritious meal and other care as needed; and finally emotional support through the loving attention of Life Center teachers, and a one to one relationship through letter writing with a caring sponsor.
How long are children in the program?
The maximum length of sponsorship is 10 years if the child enters the program at 8 years old. 8-10 years old is considered the ideal age for program entry but we don't limit this because needs do arise with older children. The children can be in the program until the age of 18.
How are the children chosen for the sponsorship program?
The pastor at the Life Center knows the surrounding community and can highlight the families that are of greatest need. Our current model prescribes that 80% of the children must come from the surrounding community and 20% can come from the local church base.
What happens when a child leaves or graduates?
The sponsor will receive a communication letting them know that their child is either graduating or no longer part of the program. At that time there will be an offer to sponsor another child who is available. The sponsor is then given the choice to decide whether they will accept the new child, choose a different child, or discontinue their sponsorship.
What is Life Center?
Life Center is our in-person, local church-based, life-on-life discipleship program for children that is hosted by a local church.
What happens onsite at Life Center?
Each Life Center is based at a local church and staffed by in-country teachers and church workers. Our Life Centers welcome children each week for Gospel-focused Bible lessons, scripture memorization, singing, and fellowship. Along with the church program, the children receive benefits to meet their physical needs such as clean water, a hearty nutritious meal, medicine, and school supplies.
How many children are in the program at each Life Center?
Each Life Center group number is capped at 30-35 children due to space limitations within the churches, and to also allow for more personal attention between the teachers and the children.
How do I write to my child?
- First, make sure that you have signed up for an online account at https://childcareworldwide.org/
- Login to your account
- Click on the Person icon and select My Children from the list
- Click on the three horizontal lines to the right of your child’s name
- Select Write a Letter
- Compose your letter and then click submit to complete
